Three Sticks Wine Cart

Three Sticks Wine commissioned me to create a rosé wine cart for their Casteñada wine collection.

The Adobe was my constant source of inspiration. What floored me the most was the intentionality with design—from the adobe mud walls, to the ornamented wallpaper, and down to the fragmented relics of the Adobe’s historic past. I was honored to be part of this large and rich curation.

The cart itself is comprised of all these elements. Taking from the Casteñada wine collection, I leaned into borders and lines in harkening back to an old western flair. With the hand-painted flowers, both real and imagined, I relied on Ken Fulk’s beautiful patterned wallpaper, specifically looking to the density and interconnectedness of each floral and leaf. Even the base colors lean into the richness of the color palette of the Adobe walls and the wine itself. All these together truly transformed this once white cart. It was an absolute joy to paint this for the Three Sticks Wine team, and I cannot wait to see it with the wine collection.
